Adolf Sehring
Master Painter of Rural America

Sehring's paintings are masterful reminders of our rural past.  There is nostalgia in the unspoiled slices of America that our grandparents knew in the still ponds, thick woods and flowered creed sides, in cloud-skimming skies and gentle rolling hills.

The artist was admitted to one of Europe's finest art academies where he mastered painting and sculpting and won multiple major prizes and awards for his realistic portraits and landscapes.

After serving in the Korean War, Sehring was contacted by Pope John Paul II, and was asked to paint the official portrait of the Pope.  The portrait proudly hangs in the Vatican.

Sehring's works are in numerous prestigious private and public collections such as the Grand Palais in Paris, the US Embassy in Sweden, the Chrysler Museum, and the US State Department.  Presiden George Bush has collected Mr. Sehring's art for decades.

Two books have been written and published featuring the fine art of Adolf Sehring.

The artist is among the most celebrated and acclaimed artists in the world.
